If you ask me, the best thing about winter (apart from snuggly scarves, crackling fires and jumper-wearing hot water bottles) is MULLED WINE! There’s nothing nicer than cosying up to the fire with good company and your digits wrapped around a hot mug of sweet ‘n spiced wine. It’s Winter’s answer to sangria!
Mel and I made the most of a chilly Winter’s day and spent a super fun arvo building a campfire on the farm (supervised by her gorgeous malamute Nanook – direwolf anyone?). And as these things go, we tried our hands at a mulled wine with a floral twist.
This recipe is simple, scrummy and will warm you up right down to your toes. If this is what mid winter looks like, we’re all for it! In fact we are now so obsessed with mulled wine right now it inspired one of our winter botanical boxes – Red, red wine.
Do yourself a favour and give it a go, we think you’ll be obsessed too.
