Rob was backpacking around Australia in 1996 when he fell in love with the country, its climate and the friendliness of its locals. He had to leave for his native Holland, though longed to be back on Australian soil. Two years later he returned, and this time it was for good!

Nestled within the Dandenong Ranges, Rob’s farm “Sunny Hill” is in prime position, making the most of a climate which is optimum for flower growth. “This is the most perfect part of the world to have a good work life balance” Rob comments. With mornings spent watching the sunrise over the tops of his glasshouses, and evenings enjoying a glass of wine against the backdrop of Mount Little Joe, we tend to agree!
