A Haunting Romance – Roses, Ranunculus and Copper Glow Arrangement

Ignoring the fact that Halloween was technically last month, let’s hear a ghostly ‘woooooooo’ and get our vamp on all over again with these blood red roses, rich burgundy ranuncs and weeping branches of moody copper glow. Because you know what will happen the second we stop celebrating the spooky season, don’t you? Bam! Then it’s Christmas, and time to start giving Mariah Carey her rent money for another year!

There’s a bit of a gushy theme going on this week, babes. Roses, particularly red ones, are pretty much the universal symbol of love and romance and ranunculus, historically, were given to show someone they were the object of admiration. Much like a boyfriend that leaves the toilet seat up, though, these ranunculus have a dirty little secret… they make a right mess of their vase water! For that reason it’s best to give the girls a fresh drink daily so that their bad habits don’t upset their vase mates.

Before we go… why do demons and ghouls hang out together? Because demons are a ghoul’s best friend!!

We’ll show ourselves out…

Here’s what you’ll need.

  • 3-5 stems of fluffy flowers like red roses

  • 3-9 stems of burgundy ranunculus

  • 2-3 stems of copper glow

  • sharp scissors or flower shears and a clean glass vase
