Autumnal Homage – Autumn Inspired Sunflower Arrangement
with Nandina, Magnolia and Tulips
It’s getting a little bit nippy! In Melbourne, perhaps more than a little, where temperatures when we were up this morning picking and packing were ooooh, about 8 degrees!
Seems fitting that this week’s arrestingly autumnal homage coincides with the cool snap. Rich and velvety golds, reds and oranges play amongst glossy deep green magnolia leaves – the chocolatey underside as soft and buttery as suede.
The earlier seasons seem to get all of the fanfare when it comes to flowers, but honestly, Autumn is just so special it’s almost a second Spring. It’s a time where every leaf is a flower, as the turn of season pours its treasure upon the trees.
Snuggle up and enjoy the crisp air and the ephemeral magic of Nature.
