Blank Space – Red and White Arrangement
with Copper Glow, Stock and Carnations
This week we want to create room for the voices that need to be heard more than our own.
Becoming an ally involves being open to unlearning. Understanding that we will never understand, so instead listening. Showing our solidarity wholeheartedly by reading, reflecting, empowering and educating.
Change is only possible when we have truth, and truth telling is about more than honesty; it yields a deeper understanding which in turn promotes healing. Where there is courage to speak the truth, and the grace to listen deeply, we can come together to build a better future.
It is important to reflect on our strength within our community, to speak to one another, check in on each other, pay attention and start discussion.
Be strong, be aware, be compassionate.
Here’s what you’ll need.
Dark foliage (tea tree, after dark or smokebush)
A mix of red and white flowers (tulips, stock, sweet william and carnations)
clean glass vase
sharp scissors or flower shears
