Heal Country! – Australian Native Arrangement

with Banksia, Proteas, Leucadendrons and Gum

In honour of NAIDOC week and in celebration of Aboriginal history, culture and achievement, this week’s box is filled with Australian native banksias, gum and leucadendrons.

The theme for 2021 is ‘Heal Country!’ which calls for stronger measures to recognise, protect and maintain Indigenous culture and heritage.

This week’s box was hand packed in Dural, NSW.
The town’s name is believed to be derived from the local aboriginal people, the Dharug, and the word Dooral-Dooral, a name meaning a smoking hollow tree.

All flowers were proudly hand packed on Dharug Country. Always was, always will be.
