No matter how much you appreciate your alone time, sleep ins, bingeing on Netflix, we’re all left craving right now. For time with loved ones, a change of scenery, chats with strangers, or just a hug! With so much time spent inside our walls and our minds, there’s no wonder we’re all feeling nuttier than a jar of super extra crunchy right now.

There ARE small things you can do to feed your feeling self calm right now – to help put the breaks on anxiety and irritants from spiralling out of control. Each tiny but powerful. Here are our fave three:

  • Get in dose of nature however you can. Even if that means staring at trees and birds overhead rather than the footpath when you’re out for a walk.
  • Tap into your community. A socially distant chat with a friend or even waving from afar at a neighbour reminds you that we’re in it together.
  • Practice something creative for just a few minutes every day, whether that’s doodling on a bit of paper, trying a unexpected new recipe or arranging your flowers. Creativity gives your mind a chance to focus on the task at hand without worrying about how productive you’re being.
