The Simple Life – Roses and Chrysanthemums

with Gypsophilia,Wheat and Olive

This week we’ve been dreaming about pretty rural landscapes and wide open skies. Room to breathe, think and enjoy simple pleasures. Rather than gulping down weetbix and flipping open our laptops, we’re daydreaming about throwing open the door to beautiful vistas, a bountiful kitchen garden and giant willows.

Not all of us can entertain running away to the country at the drop of a hat, so we’ve brought the country to you! These pretty blooms are perfect for piling into simple jam jars for perching on windowsills or on your dining table… This week’s box also includes fronds of dried wheat that you can flick out from your arrangement, or pop into a simple vase on a shelf.

So this week, take the time to appreciate the simple pleasures in life. Fill your home with pretty blooms, throw open the windows, and make yourself a cuppa and escape to the country in your own home!

Here’s what you’ll need.

  • 3-7 stems of white roses

  • 2-3 stems of chrysanthemums

  • 2-3 stems of interesting foliage, like olive
