Time To Fall – Autumn Inspired Flower Arrangement
with Carnations, Celosia and Statice
We were out for a walk last weekend, when all of a sudden we were in the midst of the most perfect Autumn scene you could imagine. Branches floating over the road, bedecked with fluttering shades of gold – all shaking their thing above our heads.
If was freezing too! And after our Indian summer, it seemed like the trees needed one final shakedown in the form of a chilly day to start let things go. But there ain’t no time like Autumn for showing us how beautiful it is to let things go and embrace all the beauty to come.
This week’s box is a celebration of just that. It’s filled with a combination of our favourite foliages, accented by coxcomb celosia, papery statice and vibrant carnations.
Arranging this week’s box is easy. Start with your largest branches first to create the shape, them fill in all the gaps with foliage and flowers. Enjoy!
Here’s what you’ll need.
- mixed foliage (we love myrtle and acacia!)
- 5-6 stems of carnations
- 3 stems of celosia and statice
- a clear glass vase
- sharp scissors or flower shears
